ABOUT

Cutty Dre is a Talkboxer, Music Producer and Engineer from San Francisco, CA. His sound infuses the likes of Funk, G-Funk, Soul and R&B. With influences such as Zapp and Roger, DJ Quik, George Clinton and The Isley Brother's, Cutty adds a modern twist to the funk-era, while also showing appreciation for the classics with his noteworthy reproductions, putting the talkbox at the forefront. 

As a Producer and Engineer, Cutty has worked behind the scenes producing alongside industry heavyweights such as the late and great, Chucky Thompson and for artists like SugaFree, Kokane, Roscoe (DPG), Slip Capone, Eastwood, Chino XL, Devin The Dude, Bushwick Bill and Dion "Deion The Future" Jenkins, just to name a few. He has also licensed his music to Netflix, MTV, VH1, A&E and multiple Hollywood films.

As a recording engineer, Cutty is noted for his work on the song "This Corner," for the feature film, "Southpaw", as well as having recorded for Actors such as Jeremy Renner (Hawk Eye) and Jen Lilley (Days of our Lives/Hallmark)!

Cutty Dre recently released his Freshman album as a Talkbox artist entitled, "Electric Love." The album was quickly picked up by Indie label "The Order Label", under Alpha Pup Records, however Cutty has since separated from the label and re-released the album independently with his long term manager and now fiance, Meagan Groach of Golden Ticket Management.

Currently residing in Buffalo, NY, Cutty is currently producing for various projects, including the upcoming release of the highly anticipated SugaKane album, as well as the soundtrack for a documentary for the legendary hip hop group, "The Fat Boyz," as well as producing songs for many up and coming artists.

In addition to recording, mixing and producing, Cutty is also a live sound engineer, currently working for multiple venues in the Buffalo area, as well as all of the surrounding Seneca Niagara Casino Resorts. He is also a father of two, with a pre-teen daughter and a two year old son, Cutty is patient, kind, and very involved in his family's lives, always making them his first priority. 

In 2022 you can expect to hear many new compositions released by Cutty, new collaborations with artists, producers and songwriters, as well as new video content for his "Electric Love" LP.
